It’s official,
Xuffed678 Season 3 is premiering Friday January 5, 2018 on YouTube! I’m so excited for you guys to see this new season! As promised, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever! With the episodes that I’ve already filmed and edited so far, a part of me feels like this is a return to my roots in some ways that reflects The Video Journals. This will make more sense once you see the new season.
Unlike previous seasons, I made the decision to be more consistent with my release schedule. For seasons 1 and 2 I would film, edit, and release an episode within a week. And often times because I would fall behind schedule, I’d have to release two episodes a week. (#TheSTRESS 😭) So this time I worked really hard to get several episodes done ahead of time, so that I’ll be able to release a new episode every Friday. I can’t promise that the entire season will be like this, but I’m crossing my fingers 🤞🏾 and hoping that I can make it happen.
Another big change this season is in the editing process. Up until now, I’ve been working with iMovie; the movie-making software that comes with Apple computers. It’s very simple and easy to use and definitely helped make what could’ve been a hard and difficult process of learning how to edit much more manageable. But I wanted to up my game, so I went ahead and purchased Final Cut Pro. (아이고 제 돈! My money! 🙈💵😭) Originally I wanted to start using Final Cut Pro at the start of Season 2, but I had very little time to learn how to use it. I still remember how complex and difficult it seemed to me at first; especially in comparison to iMovie. So I decided to hold off on using it until production for Season 3 started. I’m still not great at using it, but I’ve learned a lot and I’m happy with the freshness that it’s brought to this new season. It feels like an upgrade and that’s all I was really hoping for. I’m sure in the years to come, I’ll learn even more about Final Cut Pro and maybe by then, my videos will look like LEGIT MOVIES. Mwa ha ha ha! 😏✌🏾
While filming Season 2, I was keeping a pretty big secret; one that I knew would be revealed in Season 3. What I can tell you now is that the Season Premiere JUMPS right into this secret which will be a catalyst for the stories in the episodes that follow. I can also say that this season so far has taken on more of a vlogging style way of storytelling so I hope you’ll enjoy that as well. These episodes are something I’ve been looking forward to sharing for a really long time now and it’s been nice reliving these moments through the editing process. So get ready for Season 3 by checking out the mini promo down below that perfectly describes my feelings about the new season! 😆 Catch up on Seasons 1 and 2 on my YouTube channel before the new episodes arrive! See you soon! ^___^
