About
Hello, I'm Gabriel Ross, and I'm delighted to share my journey with you. Raised in a diverse family, I grew up with an African American father from Chicago and a Korean mother from South Korea. I'm the middle child, with a younger sister and two older brothers. Growing up, my siblings and I watched a lot of television, film, and anime which caused me to develop a passion for storytelling and ignited my fascination with the power of narratives.
In middle school, I embarked on a personal odyssey by keeping handwritten journals. These journals became a sanctuary for my thoughts and emotions, except for one topic I hesitated to confront. But in 2010, I found the courage to embrace my true self and came out as gay. This pivotal moment in my life became the genesis of a new era in my journaling journey.

Introducing The Video Journals: raw, unedited videos where I openly shared my coming out experience, explored the dynamics of my family and friendships, and delved into the events shaping my life and those around me. It was and continues to be a powerful form of self-expression, a journey towards self-acceptance, and an opportunity to connect with others on a deeply personal level.
In 2015, after five years of video journaling, I sought a new challenge and launched my own YouTube series called Xuffed678. This new venture coincided perfectly with a life-changing chapter: teaching English in South Korea. Xuffed678 became a platform for me to share my experiences, adventures, and cultural exploration in this vibrant country. It's also given me the opportunity to explore producing other content such as skits, reaction videos, cooking, and more.
I've always been captivated by the art of storytelling, how it enables us to relate and reflect on the forces that have shaped our lives. My mission is simple but profound: to be my true, authentic self and inspire others to do the same. I believe in the power of self-acceptance, love, and authenticity, and I look forward to continuing my journey, sharing stories, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey of self-discovery and self-expression. Together, we can make the world a more accepting and authentic place.
